Oxford to Ledbury

The first leg - and it goes straight in the wrong direction. This is part 1 of trying to link the route with the Atlanic coast. Sunny weather, little wind, light traffic. At the Queen Elizabeth Inn in Elmley Castle I meet a historic car club who are gently parading their antique open top luxury cars through the countryside - very civilised.

At the end of the ride, I meet Sarah Higginson, who volunteers at a horse agility class. We have a pub lunch at the Farmers Arms in Wellington Heath, in beautiful hilly green countryside surroundings. The direct train from Ledbury to Oxford completes the day.
