Robin Greenwood (no relation) came up with the good idea that we could celebrate Oriel’s 700th anniversary by cycling from London to Oriel. Lara then came up with the idea that it could be even more fun to not take the train to the start line, but instead to cycle there from Oriel. So we did.
The group that met us at Gunnersbury Park consists of a wonderful mix of current, recent and distant past Oriel students. A special treat was that we had two support vehicles with excellent food provision along the way.
